Presentation for the Workplace
Description:
This short learning programme on presentation for the workplace aims to enable you to design and deliver confident and engaging presentations for various audiences in/for the workplace (face-to-face, online, or in a hybrid format) using PowerPoint.
Admission Requirements:
You must be 18 years and older.
You must have access to an internet-enabled device.
You must communicate clearly in English.
No prior knowledge of the topic is required.
Curriculum:
This course comprises five units, namely:
• Develop a clear and concise message for your presentation (including PowerPoint navigation, editing and formatting, key message and structuring, and presentation mode).
• Design your presentation (including using masters and templates in PowerPoint, text, graphics, accessibility, and inspiring and interactive design).
• Prepare to deliver your presentation (including slide transitions and animated effects, speaker notes, hide slides, prepare handouts, and rehearse).
• Deliver your presentation (including your mindset, understanding and engaging your audience, managing time, and responding to Q&A).
• Evaluate your presentation and follow-up (including feedback mechanism, utilise feedback and dissemination of your presentation).
