This short learning programme on MS Teams for the workplace aims to enable you to proficiently use MS Teams in the workplace to communicate and collaborate. The SLP includes the core features of MS Teams that are typically used in the workplace.
You must be 18 years or older.
You must have access to an internet-enabled device.
You must communicate clearly in English.
No prior knowledge of the topic is required.
This course comprises five units, namely:
• Getting started on MS Teams (including MS Teams Desktop and mobile apps, the roles of MS Teams in the workplace, the layout of Teams and its terminology, creating and managing a Team, and customisation).
• Communicate via MS Teams (including scheduling and managing Meetings and Live Events, using the Calls feature, online calls and meetings etiquette, group conversations and private chats).
• Collaborate via MS Teams (including creating and managing channels, creating and managing Files, setting up calendars, and adding custom tabs).
• Integration of MS Teams with Office 365 (including integration with Microsoft Office, Forms and Lists).
• Other MS Teams features (including bookmarks, breakout rooms, translation, automated workflows and Tasks).
