Description
The purpose of this programme is to qualify health professionals who can analyse, strategise, and offer solutions to environmental and occupational health threats faced by sub-Saharan Africa.
- Contextualise public health within the region with a focus on environmental and occupational health.
- Conduct health risk assessments and manage these risks effectively.
- Develop epidemiology and research methodologies relevant to the region.
- Make strategic decisions in environmental health domains.

Admission Requirements
- Health-related qualification at NQF Level 8 (e.g., Environmental Health, MBChB, Nursing).
- 65% average in the highest qualification.
- Minimum three years of experience in Environmental or Occupational Health.
- SAQA evaluation for international qualifications.
